About Us

Since 1973, Meals on Wheels volunteers have delivered hot weekday dinners and cold suppers to homebound, recuperating, and elderly neighbors in Rye, Port Chester, and Rye Brook. The balanced, nutritious meals are prepared at Hubbard’s Cupboard in Port Chester and delivered at midday.

We are a local, independent, non-profit, entirely volunteer organization that delivers weekday meals to the homebound in our community.  We exist through the generous participation of individual drivers and donors.  Our Meals on Wheels does not receive any government funding and is not affiliated with any other social service or Meals on Wheels organizations.

During our first year of operation, we delivered 1,076 meals. Currently our volunteers bring more than 12,000 hot dinners and cold suppers to our neighbors throughout our three communities.
